Any difference between SATA cables?

As far as the cable itself goes, not really, no.

However the connectors tend to lock more securely, and the cable is less fragile with the better quality ones.

Go branded if possible, but not if its a significant amount more expensive.

Just dont go for a belkin, they are overpriced, poor quality, dont come with the clip and the right angled plugs are the wrong way around.

Don't be fooled by cables listed as "SATA 2" as well. SATA2 doesn't really exist, all SATA cables are basically the same (other than minor quality differences as Jelly said), all can support the 3Gb/s transfer rates, etc. Don't think therefore that cables listed as "SATA2" are any better than other "SATA" leads because they aren't.
