Im using legacy 4 pin molex connector on my sata drives becuase it is more handy. I have some of the newer adapters, but does it matter with regards to performance?
It doesn't affect performance at all. I'm not using the legacy just at the moment but I have done so in the past on a raptor. Just don't connect both, like some do.
