Any downsides running 2 seperate SSD's?

I just got a 128gb vertex 4 as my crucial m4 128gb is full and I wanted to know if there are any downsides running 2 separate ssd's? I heard something about trim not being supported with 2 separate ssd's????

i wouldnt of thought so .. would be stupid to only allow one ssd per system

i think in raid there may be issues but not a seperate drives

only got one ssd myself as yet so havnt messed with diferent ones

Trim is only not supported if you run them in RAID.

As Addicted says, IIRC, its only if you have the SSD's in RAID.

I was told spanning also disables raid.
