Could you possibly recommend books that you've personally found to be excellent for the basics/fundamentals of Electronics?

Also electronics books related to audio design, covering things such as amplifiers, filters, etc.

Thanking you kindly.

I can try to dig out my old electronics coursework.

My degree was in Sound Technology, and one of the assignments was building an amplifier, so it could be of use.

I think everybody in the industry has learnt from the Art of Electronics; it's an excellent book for the basics. For the basics it's excellent but it is showing its age.

Principles of Electronic Circuits by Floyd is also a good alternative.

If analogue is your interest after AoE I would move on to Design with Operational Amplifiers and Analog Integrated Circuits by Sergio Franco. It's one of if not the best texts on Analogue design.

That takes me back, I read the Art of Electronics at college, I might have to buy a new copy as mine was borrowed from the college library years ago.

WOW!! You guys have no idea how excited I just got seeing these books. Thank you all so much for these recommendations.

I graduated about five years ago with my EE and absolutely enjoyed every second of the course material. I managed to get a 2:1 and felt really confident with my knowledge but I was lured away from the Electronics side by consultancy... more the outrageous wages they pay.

So now I'm five years past my prime and I've been hired as a junior Electronics Circuit Design Engineer, so I'm trying to get to grips with it all again.

I'll take a look into all these. So far I'm pretty close to purchasing:
Art of Electronics
Design with Operational Amplifiers and Analog Integrated Circuits by Sergio Franco
Advanced Engineering Mathematics

The Op Amps book looks absolutely fantastic, very close to the type of work I'm doing for my company but it's 150 minimum to buy that book!

PS: Thank you for this reasource, I'll definitely be using this too!

Are you specifically looking at automotive audio, or are you interested in automotive stuff in general?

Most automotive stuff these days relates around Canbus. I recall a friend telling me about his Merc training and just how intricate the systems are.
