Is there any relation to EveshamMicros?
I was going to say it was a shame to see Evesham go, but if they were prepared to get into bed with those charlatans they must have been so desperate that I'm not at all surprised. Lost count of how many times those brands beginning with T have gone bust/been bought/rebranded/whatever. I 'lost' a perfectly functional laptop to one of those incidents as it had gone back to have the CPU fan replaced. Never, ever, again. Fortunately, insurance paid.The Evesham name was purchased by the people (not what id call them) that gave false hope of a rescue and they are using it for their brand, basically its tiny/time

I once made a pilgrimage to Evesham Micros in the late 80s to buy an Atari ST 40 meg hard drive for £500.
I got there and was firstly disappointed by the size of the shop and what was in it and then I asked for an expert on the drives.
They told me he was out but was on his way back if I wanted to wait.
40 minutes later he came in and I asked my question -
What is the speed increase of the hard drive compared to the disk drive in the ST?
Answer = It's quicker.
I walked out and bought it from Leeds Computers which ended up being somebody's shed in the back garden.
