Any fellow chess players?

I used to play hardcore, did a lot of tournaments when i was younger and things.

Loved it, haven't really played since my grandad passed away, we always used to play.

Just signed up so ill be up for a game.

My OCUK tag is the same as on chess.com so..

i just played a live game and most times when I moved a peice, it just disspappeared!

anyone know why? At the end My king disappeared and I was put in check and couldn''t do anything about it....

It is a beta and fairly unstable. What browser were you using?

Does anyone else fancy a live game?

well, i've registered as vincent1989

dad taught me to play from the age of around 6 and it wasn't till i was about 8 that i actually beat him, it took a while but these days i usually beat him 2:1 or better:D.

used to play at secondary school as well, breaks and often lunches amongst the 'smarter' people in my year group and used to do fairly well. haven't really played much since, enough to keep 'in practice' but haven't improved on my game much since school.

if anyone fancies a game just add me, i'm still unemployed until friday next week so should be able to get a few games in :D

edit: aww crap, forgot how much i hate chess on the PC, can't visualise the board and pieces properly, can observe my opponents expressions or see the moves they do (the piece just appears there without showing what piece moved and i miss it and lose something important) blooming thing :(

I have just registered as:

WoZZeR_OcUK

As my username was already in use.

I am not particularly good at chess but do like a game now and then.

Please add me everyone :)

*bump*

I've got an account now: 'Nixeh'

Chess.com seems to be a very good site. Is it worth the premium membership?

If anyone wants to give me a game, I'll be happy to play. Live or otherwise.

Is there an OcUK group?
