any free programs for adding subtitles to mp4?

As the title says is there any programs able to add subtitles to mp4 files. Preferably free. Thanks in advance.

i've not tested it myself but i'd imagine yamb/mp4box could do this. if you use it to extract the raw video/audio files from your original mp4 and then have a subtitle file, you could remux all 3 files into a new mp4 container.
