Any Golfers?

Start of the golfing season at my club next week and i can`t wait.

Golfers seem to get a bit of a rough ride at times, especially on here

So, just for a bit of fun, please post here if you are a regular or casual golfer, and your handicap if you have one.

If enough people post, I will create a list of OcUK`s golfers and handicaps.

i play golf every weekend with my old man.i'm not very good always tend to be 95-105 but just love playing the game doesnt bother me if i'm bad think gonna improve though as giving up my driver as its so inconsistant whereas i can hit straight and long with the new hybrid i brought .

Golf Mad!!!

Started playing April last year. Been playing once a week since January this year, had a hernia op Nov last year that set me back a bit, before that i was playing twice a week and up at the range twice a week also with regular lessons. Before having the op i was playing as a 14hcp in any days out we had with corporate/club outings but it's more like 20hcp at the moment (still getting back to the full swing after op) but that's all unofficial as i haven't joined a golf club being more of a golf nomad.

Off to look at new irons on wednesday night, today was bonus day for our lass and she got more than she ever dreamed of, so she is going to treat me to a new set, got a budget of £600 to play with so should end with something half decent!

Going to have another summer as a nomad and then look at joining a club next year (local club is £2k joining and £800 per year after that! :eek:

Only a casual golfer now, but used to be very keen at one time. I was a member of my local club for years, and got my handicap down to 12, before i found the joys of booze.

Only a fair weather player now, on the odd Sunday here and there. Getting too old to be lugging the bag up and down hills. Much prefer the nineteenth these days.
