Any good games similar to Doom/Quake/Unreal single player?

Not quite in the same style but Dishonored has a bit of that old school feel to it and as a quake, etc. player you'd probably appreciate it and with the knife of dunwall + brigmore witches DLCs theres quite a bit of content to get through starting from scratch.
Shadow Warrior coming soon to PC, if you like the original, DN3D and Blood etc.

I *liked* Blood (my peripherals didn't) and Duke Nukem 3D, but Shadow Warrior dialogue is so amazingly rubbish, it's genius.
"Oh look, you coming apart!" or "you half the man you used to be" after slashing a someone in half
"Oh, faggot rabbit, hehe" while watching rabbits hump
"You drop soap, bend over and pick it up, hehe" and "you want to wash Wang or watch Wang wash wang?" while watching an anime chick shower
Hope the new one is as irreverently silly, fed up of American docu-soap drama games tbh

What, you mean it is not a bland linear hand lead special effects tour, but instead has interestingly crafted levels with lots of interesting stuff to do?

Hard Reset is a decent old school style FPS. Looks great,l and runs great too. It can get a bit frustrating sometimes because it is quite difficult compared modern games.

Painkiller series and the duke nukem megaton edition via steam is really enjoyable, granted its not all shiny graphics but still fun.

SS starts slowly, but later on; has loads of AI to kill....the last level is extremely hard.
i'm not sure about Alien Rage, because this is a modern take on an old school shooter, the AI kills you very easily; because from what i've read it's a hard game to play !!!
this strikes me as ``tactical linear``, you'll have to use cover, you wont be able to charge through it like Sam, this might be the way some shooters go....tactical old school.
