Somewhere, in a field in cheshire... alright!
Hello,

Can anyone suggest a good indoor DAB aerial that will likely give a better reception than the wire that came with the CD/Radio. Under £20 or there about ideally. The signal has got so bad now it's almost unlistenable, the signal goes completely every so often for about 5 to 10 seconds. It's a Panasonic and the aerial screws into the back.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thank you.

I had this problem a few years ago. I bought a "One for all" (trade name) SV9215 aerial with an amplifier (with mains power supply) - worked very well. Available on the High Street.
It is about a foot square with a 3m lead. Has a UHF aerial type socket. Probably there will be ones with different lead-outs

The one I have has a 3m aerial lead which plugs into the amplifier and about a 1.5 m lead from plug in "power block" to amplifier - schematically

xxxxxxxx
x aerial x xxxxxxxlead3mxxxxxxxxxxx(amplifier)-aerial socket(DAB)
x 12"sq x

Amplifier has 1.5m low volts lead to power block. Mine's just left on so batteries would soon go flat.
