ryse son of rome & shadow of mordor both can be found for under a tenner and both games look very nice and run very well

Bare in mind Shadow of Mordor is an amazing game and Ryse is crap.

I used to love Die by the Sword. Very dated now but the movement mechanics were great

Shadow of mordor 3.99 on cd keys for the got edition picked it up years ago but only just running through it now fantastic game

I loved Ryse. It's just very short. But the graphics are phenomenal. And it is the only game to come close to a game like Spartacus the TV show! :eek:

Chivalry - the best sword play mechanics multiplayer. No single player.
Dark Souls - the best singleplayer, great variety of weapons, good multiplayer.
Mount n Blade - decent mechanics, great mods, good SP, good MP.

The rest of the games are quite far behind these 3.

I'll second Metal Gear Rising. Found it a lot of fun once you start levelling up.

+1 looks basic but is one of the best fighting mechanics around.
