Any HDDs out there yet that use VISTAs features ?

Like onboard exclusive vista buffer in the hdd ?

i remember reading about those,,,

I think they where called Hybrid Drives.

Not that I know of, the hybrid HDD's look interesting, but nothing mainstream. The way things look though, they will be hitting the market by storm.

Samsung have just started shipping 2.5" drives with on board flash memory.

Hopefully it won't be too long before we see some bigger 3.5" drives

Aparently just buying more ram makes more of a performance difference, unless you're rebooting every 5 mins (the files used by vista during boot-up stay in the flash memory)
