Hi everyone, I just built a pc based on another mobo. P5Q Deluxe.
The problem I am getting here is everytime there is a overclock failure. The screen won't load up, leave me a black screen like no graphics card is present. Everytime I have to switch off the main power to get the loading screen appear again.

Anyone knows where the problem is? why I can't get a load message if overclock failure happens?

just reading through the forum, can I use this setting?

If you are unsure what your doing copying another user is the worse thing you can IMO. Set every thing to defalut, get the info from your sticker on the ram sticks input in the bios correctly then overclock the FSB as normal and find out where your system is falling over

I would like to try them one value by one value, but the annoying thing is everytime it failed, it did not show me the load up screen, so everytime I need to reset the bios, which is a pain

So anyone knows how to prevent the loading screen from disappear?
