Hi again guys

Thinking of purchasing a dedicated sound card to put in my rig

Would it be much of an improvement over the sound card built into my MOBO?

What benefits would I gain?

Your board has one of the better onboard audio codecs. Really depends on what you are using in the way of headset/headphone and/or speakers.
