Asus recently announced a revision to the ROG Strix XG32VQ with a few upgrades in the form of the XG32VQR.

Any indications within Overclockers on a release date and possibly price?
I was going to purchase the XG32VQ then i saw the XG32VQR news.

Also noticed the post on the LG 32GK850F 32" 2560x1440 VA FREESYNC 2 HDR 144Hz 1ms Widescreen LED Monitor. So now a battle between the Asus and the LG monitor and which monitor gets my money.

Unsure but i just picked up a xg32vq at an offer price of £340 :D

Hopefully here next week.

HDR would be nice but until its properly supported by monitors and windows it's just another feature that has varying degrees of implementation.

Cool...let me know how the xg32vq goes...
The HDR400 is a joke so not a consideration for me...just looking for a decent 32" 1440p 144hz monitor...
ps where did you pick up the xg32vq at that price?

These 32" curved VA panels are inferior Samsung. If I were going to get another 32" 1440pVA panel, it would definitely be the LG (flat) but has a much better panel for gaming. (lower VA smear)

yes was concerned with the smearing on these VA panels thought this refreshed model would be an improved screen but if it's just a rehash with better overdrive ect. might give the LG a look
