any info on this game (Apache Air Assault)

I think it's one of their games that are done by a smaller team, graduates maybe, won't be all that great me thinks :)

Although, could be wrong, how many slippery buggers have slipped under the net and turned out to be corkers in the last couple of years?

Looks awesome. I like the fact this is meant to be more of a sim than arcade game. Previous flight games on the 360 have been ruined because of their arcade nature.
 
The demo is out for this. Tried it briefly last night and seems pretty good, will be having another go later.

Infra-Red mode on the chain gun feels very COD4 like, ripping up gunmen and the trees that they are sheltering in :)
 
This reminds me of a game I had on the ps1 called Firestorm Thunderhawk 2, I'll defiantly be nabbing this thanks for the heads up ThestigGT999.

I'm tempted by this as long as it isn't too arcade, the demo appears to be XBL Gold account users only which is annoying :(

Of course there isn't a 30 button start up sequence, but i've only tried the realistic setting and the physics are quite good.

GFX are quite good too, not amazing but they do their job. I'm just watching a replay of a mission and it would have been nice to be able to pan the camera around, but it looks nice.

It reminds me of a 3D version of Desert Strike.:D

I'll probably buy it.

I'm seeing a flyable Hind-D available in the game as well, oh yeah :D

A decent enough attempt to simulate helicopter flight will suffice for me, so if it does that I'm definately in :)
 
Looking good!

Tried the demo, controller scheme on realistic is a bit of a plaster if your used to really arcadey flying - definitely lends itself towards a joystick to get the most out of it in my opinion.

Also, local coop pilot and gunner! Hell yes! :D
 
Demo of this is pretty good.

On arcade/training flight option its basically Desert Strike :D

On realistic - its frikin hard lol

May get a joystick though. Graphics are v good..sound of whirly chopper is also good :)
