Any iOS coders here? Possible job

I dont do iOS coding but a friend who runs a driving school is looking into a custom app for promo and his customers. Anyone point me in the right direction to find someone for this task?

First of all he should be asking if he REALLY needs the app, depending on the size and complexity they can easily run into the thousands of pounds if he's/she's not careful.

I would have put myself up for the job but I've got about 4 months worth of work to do already with a possible 6 month job on top of that.
 
Probably not being completely honest buts its all part of a bigger marketing drive to include in advertising, on radio and to get a "one up" on competitors. You know the kinda thing "prepare for your test in your spare time with our handy iPhone and iPad app ..."
 
You can easily do it on the cheap if you own a Mac with a $99 iOS dev. account, you create a mobile site in HTML to fit iOS devices using a free framework if you want it to look pretty (e.g. iWebKit) and use appmakr.com which will allow you to embed your site into the app. They only charge if they do the appstore upload but they give you easy to follow instructions on how to do that yourself.
 
Might be tricky for the ideas Ive come up with for it, it would require a database to store progress, which Q&As have been posed, scores etc etcf
 
I could do it, depends on what your friend is after and on what scale. Coding for iOS is a doddle, but coding alone doesnt lend itself to top down software design. Would the project be properly specified or left to your own devices? I am not particularly confident at producing art assets but a significant focus in iOS app design is making things look beautiful.

On the plus side, i have a background in game development so i write apps using a customer OpenGL renderer which lets me do some really, really cool stuff :)
