Any Isle of Man TT fans in the house?

jeesus just seen the full 7minute onboard from bruce ansteys record lap . wasnt even close to a perfect lap ! hold ups and near misses but still blitzed it. so so fast through the bits where you ought not to be

The 'perfect' laps never are the fastest :p

Pretty disappointed that the only time things like the TT get into mainstream news is to report deaths, not that records have been broken etc.... no news like morbid news huh!

Yeah, sad times but also amazing racing times. Anstey`s lap onboard was incredible really pushing. Great win for triumph it will send 675 sales soaring i am guessing. BMW in top spot is incredible considering its there first season and never been before, but i guess when you have the full BSB team and BMW HQ at your disposal anything its a little easier but still a amazing achievement. Dunlop seems a lot more calmer this year and more likeable he has nothing to prove and amazing racer. As for the fans favourite Guy Martin no idea why he got black flagged, i read rear wheel nut somewhere.

Yeah but in other news, I'm sure some wag has bought a new hand bag.

Lol at Hutchinson's off roading :p Just riding through IoM casually on a fully race specced bike :D

Was funny enough him going off up the lane but I was in bits when he said "Then I was in the woods" Him keeping going & bumping into that Transit that was lost as well was great TV then as One says him riding his Race bike through the streets to get back to pits was epic. :p

Shame about Johnson but he won't mind sitting out now he has a Trophy to hold.

Never seen Hutchy looking like that. :( He looked proper wounded sitting there on his chair. Hope he wins the Zero.

Michael Dunlop has reached another level this week.

William Dunlop getting on the podium is always good as well as he seems such a nice guy.

Guy Martin can't be happy at all, he is going backwards when everybody else is moving forwards.

Shame Connor didn't place as well as I like the dude on a Tall blokes stick together sort of thing. :D

I'm looking forward to it have been visiting the TT for over 10years, just wondered if anyone else on here is a fan?

Hi Fella,

Not a biker myself yet, (been bitten by the bug and intend to sort it ASAP!) new to this section of the forums, but i attend the Southern 100 and TT most years as my dad is a marshal (Parents moved over to IOM 15 years ago now)

I marshal on the Southern 100 as its a smaller circuit and there is constant bike action, where being a marshal on the TT there are a lot of quiet moments due to the length of the circuit.

Anyways what i was going to suggest fella, is sign up as a Marshall :) the Southern 100 bunch are great and very friendly. The circuit is only 3.7+ miles and there is constant bike action. Saying that the southern is what two weeks prior to the TT so if your only over for the TT it could be an issue lol.

Just gotten back to the UK from the IOM

What happened to William D? hope he is ok, and who wasn't respecting the flags? MD was having a good rant about it with his interview :p

He completely messed up the line into a corner on the mountain and went off the road. It was a pretty spectacular crash but he's not too badly injured fortunately, last I heard he got away with a fractured ankle.

I got back yesterday evening after riding back from Heysham with the group I went with. I was knackered last night and still feeling pretty tired today but had an absolutely epic week on the island. Sadly we missed the Senior and lightweight simply due to the limited choice of ferry tickets available when we booked.

Unlike my last trip in 2011 the mountain actually stayed open for a decent length of time so we managed to get quite a few rides in. We also greatly improved the financial health of Bushy's and Okells, the local breweries - my liver must be the size and consistency of a walnut by now.

Met loads of great people on the island, apart from a tiny minority of local youths everyone is incredibly friendly to the many thousands of visitors. If you've never been then you need to go.

Post TT blues yo!

Had a mega trip very lucky with weather, got caught in heavy rain on way home but waterproofs were.
Is it time for TT 2015 yet?

yours depressed in the office
Chris

The Bob Price crash was awful, he was more of a passenger than a rider at the point he got to the bridge :(

On a slightly more upbeat note I found a nice pic of me chasing my brother up the mountain (the Gooseneck) on http://www.fantttastic.com/
