Any issues/bugs with Vertex 2E series?

I'm thinking of purchasing the 40gb one for my laptop which only has SATA1 from what I can tell. The connectors are all standard and should fit in the slot yeah?

Secondly, I'm getting a 60gb one for the OS drive on my main pc with a P5Q series motherboard from asus, no obviously issues there yeah?

Will run windows 7 on both so TRIM should work fine? I don't want to be faffing around with firmware upgrades etc. It needs to work out of the box and thats it

I've got Windows 7 on a 30gb ssd and that leaves at least 15gb free, so I was thinking I would have similar amounts free for the laptop. Its a dell XPS M1330 btw and I don't use it often in any case, just occasionally take it home, that sort of thing. I can't afford anything larger either
