Any issues printing to wifi only printer if pc is cable networked?

dont know if this is an issue at all.

it now seems that most low priced wireless printers do not have a network port

is there any issue with printing to these if you pc doesnt have wireless (ie, only networked) or will it still see the device like it can a wifi laptop etc?

yes, that is my setup, was just wanting to make sure you could print from pc to wireless router (via cable) to printer (wireless)

You will have no issues, that hows my setup is connected.

Printer is wireless (connected the printer to the wireless network by using the onboard setup) pc is connected to the hub via powerline adapters.

Excellent, would have preferred a network cable but will be printing so infrequently i dont want to spend money on it for sake of it

Mine used to be set up exactly as you describe and I had no issues.

That's only if both the printer and the router support WPS and it actually works on the printer, if it doesn't then you'll have to set it up manually (that means connecting it to a computer by USB) using the printer software.

The last few wireless printers I've dealt with allowed you do do everything via the printer's front panel controls. No need for WPS (which I always leave disabled) or a USB connection.

My wireless printer doesn't have front panel controls that allows setting up a wireless connection, and the WPS support is non existent (it didn't work on two routers that supported it and the printer is supposed to support WPS) which leaves manual configuration through the printers setup software using a USB cable.
