mobo sounds intresting as maybe in a year or so il go quad,

g card - quote from BFG site (aint got a clue what it means and will psu support it)
"" 325W PCI Express-compliant system power supply (Minimum system power requirement based on a standard PC configured with an Intel® Core™2 Extreme X6800 processor) """"

any tweaks to that setup to drop budget i.e a 400w psu diff ram etc

the ocuk 8600 cards sound decent but no info if you get a dvi to vga converter ? all other retail branded cards say on there sites they are supplied card.

thanks

budget

around the 400 mark, but im still in 2 minds on buying vista.
i also not sure if il actully overclock the cpu yet, but getting the bits to do so is a bonus for when things start to get slow again lol :)

The above looks pretty good, if you want it cheaper you can swap out the CPU for a lower model or the GPU for the OCUK version.

nice spec from will, maybe drop the processor to the 2160, clocking pretty decent iirc, check the cpu/overclocking sections.

Would change to the OCUK 8600GT, if it doesn't come with the adapter it is still very easy to get hold of. Use the saved cash towards a 2Gb kit, it's simply too cheap not to go 2Gb.

Swap that power supply for a FSP bluestorm 2 400W for £30 or the 500W version for £15 more. Don't let the price fool you they are very decent PSUs.
