Any Linux gamers here?

I've switched to Fedora and driver support is great for my 9070XT. Witcher 3 Remastered is running perfectly, particularly compared to the mess that it is on Windows.

I had to faff about getting HDR working properly with AI to the rescue again. :)
If you need any help with HDR let me know, while I've been daily driving Fedora for last 5 weeks I've messed about with Linux on and off for past few years, back when you needed gamescope for HDR and now all you need is proton GE with Wayland launch command

Thanks for the offer. I got those launch command fixes from Gemini. :)

Incidentally, Gemini/AI has made using Linux much easier. I've got the most amazing Plex media server in place and currently developing some useful utilities with Python.

I was literally using Windows solely for gaming but it's getting closer to the point where that won't be necessary either. Windows is only required for work stuff now (Office, Teams etc).

Yeah I find it handy to remind me of commands for example now and again, or to be lazy and have it build my proton user_settings file lol

I'm actually at the point were I'm taking photos of the settings screen in games and asking for best settings for my hardware, and it then hunts the internet in seconds to fetch the answers. :D

Huh didn't think of stuff like that tbh, I know I've fed it proton logs (when I was trying to find cause of stuttering in dead space remake), it didn't help me but it at least gave me ideas on what to try

Honestly as a whole I think I've actually improved a lot with Linux these last 5 weeks, tho I guess that's expected when you daily drive it Vs just trying it out
