Can't argue with that.. Not the sort of game you can pick up and put down after 10 minutes though.. You have to complete a mission or two (sounds like the song from Oliver)

Half Life - Obvious choice.

RTCW - A bit dated now but still my favourite

Grab RTCW:ET (Enemy Territory) - it's the MP version of RTCW given a good bit of tweaking, loads of fun, a million maps and mods and it'll run on just about any PC. Well worth a look.

I'm currently rocking through the Blizzard stable:

Diablo 2, Warcraft 3 (a classic) and World of Warcraft.

Seeing as you have Steam, Audiosurf and Peggle are brilliant and well worth a download.

I am one this series biggest fans but i dont think it cut the mustard compared a modded rome TW.

Total War Eras (the multipack) can be had for ~£10 and is an amazing buy just for Rome TW

Battle for Wesnoth

Colossus (remake of Avalon Hill's Titan boardgame) although when the boss wanders round and sees 4 or 5 people constantly coming and going taking their turns he does get suspicious

Can't seem to get into any of the current crop of new games at the moment, apart from EVE that is.

edit: What mods do you recommend for Rome TW Carl? Might go back to Rome TW after losing interest in MTW 2.

I prefer Rome too, just seems cooler and i really like the timeline. I really should go get Eras for the bonus features.

Ooooo, quite a lot there.

So far, i'm gonna get :
The Witcher, Sup Commander Gold, Oblivion, BioShock and Mass Effect.

Still gonna have a look at the others been named to see if they're my kinda games, but by the looks of it I'll be busy for awhile with these
