Any of you have a 360 AND a PS3?

Hey all,

Through various forums I've seen a number of people that have both a 360 and a PS3...

I was just wondering if any of you have both and what made you go for both of them?

I went for the PS3 for the Blu-ray player and for the exclusives - namely the next Team Ico game. I got the 360 purely for the variety of games and Live.
 
I have both simply because there has never been (and probably won't ever be) one system that has all the quality games. I like to be able to decide for myself if I want a game, not have it decided for me because I don't own a certain console.

Haven't bought a Wii yet so I still have some games unavailable to me.
 
One of the reasons I made this thread was also because im considering buying a PS3 for Rock band (Import) and MGS4 when it comes out (Im a huge MGS fan and hate to miss it :p)

Would you consider this a little too much? Or shall I just do it and give myself a little late Christmas present? :p
 
I bought the 360 because it was the first next gen console. PS3 I got just because I could really, although I did want a blu-ray player anyway and it was the cheapeast option at the time.
 
I got both (and a wii) because this is the first gen that I have had the money to be able to afford to buy all 3. I love games and I hate to miss out on the great ones because I dont have the right console.
 
Decided to get both plus a Wii and added to my console collection. As I collect them as my hobby. So far 27 game consoles and still going:)
 
Got both yeah, though the 360 gets the most use out of the two. SMG on the Wii is my tipple of choice at the moment though.
 
i brought both simply so i can play the games that are not on either format, although lately the PS3 is being used more due to its free online play and quietness whilst gaming.
 
I have all 3 household consoles and both portable consoles. I'm very interested in games, I play them all the time, I like the option of playing anything I want on any console, I have a BA degree in Games Design etc...

So yes, games are a big part of my life.
 
I own both, bought my 360 late last year (and still working touch wood), and bought my PS3 from Canada whilst I was on holiday a few months back a few days after they announced their big price drop.

Best way to go in my opinion, means you can enjoy all the great games instead of siding with one console and missing out on some video gaming gold!
 
Another vote here for getting them both (or all 3) I got the PS3 for crimbo, completing the set, its near silence whilst doing anything is worth it alone :)

Also really enjoying Resistance :D
 
I got my PS3 because it doesn't sound like a hoover, ala 360 - it also, to me, has much better media functions now that avi files can be played*.

Whilst the online part of PS3 sucks hard, in comparison to Live, I expect that it can and will be fix if/when Home comes out.

Either way, I’m happy with both, the PS3 gets the most use now though.

I have all three - Wii just for Galaxies, X360 was bought end of 05 for PGR2 and hardly touched since, PS3 is mainly used for blu-ray, although Im waiting for official release of GT5 Prologue with anticipation
 
We have all three, I'm a sucker for new gadgets so just splash out for anything new. With the 360, being a PC boy at the time I didn't know what to expect or what upcoming titles were coming out but haven't regretted it.
Again with the PS3 I never looked at what games were coming out etc and just bought it after trading in my knackered 360, again, don't regret it, it's used mainly for media purposes right now.
 
I got the 360 and PS3, little brother has the Wii.

I wasn't really all that interested in the 360, simply got it because I could, now I just need to finish Bioshock on it, get Mass Effect and wait for Too Human, other than that it can go to the recycling heap :p

PS3 I've been waiting for quite a while for, very much excited by some of the upcoming stuff :D Ohh and Blu-ray on a 1080p tv = <3
 
I have all 3 as there are exclusives to each that I wouldn't want to miss out on :) My 360 gets the most use from me, Wii the most from other people and the PS3 is used for Ratchet & Clank, Uncharted and Blu-Ray films but I'm hopeful that 2008 will see the PS3 vying with the 360 for more of my time!
