I recently saw on Steam that Uplink had a new HD trailer... i thought WTF new uplink?!??!? but sadly i was disapointed it was a HD trailer for the original uplink. Evenso I dug out my old uplink game and installed it again hehehe.

I've got my way to 21 on the agent list and just started hacking banks looking for loan info for my clients when i stumbled accross a guy with 100,000...

So i quickly created an account in this bank and went about transfering his money into my account, i then deleted statements of him sending and me ever receiving any money :D Then went and bought myself the uber 800,000 Gateway. TO MY SURPRISE.. it was only after the purchase i realised that i stole 1,000,000 + lolololol I still have 900,000 to spend. This game brings back good memories.

Im gonna try and hack everything and destroy everything lol. MUHAHAHAHHA maybe bruce willis will show up at my door and wanna kick my ass.
 
great game. some good mods out there if i remember correctly. gets rather repetitive but i love the premise of it.

the Key code for it was great as well, pure black book with a huge grid, which the game asked for random referances to the grid to install. top idea.
 
update after hacking the bank and successfully transfering the 1million dollar booty to my account i have jumped from 21st to 3rd in the hackers ranking :D

only grade 7 Professional atm too hehe.

Seriously, my life will be plagued with this game for the next month or so lol. It's one of them games I will play constantly for ages, then get too busy with work to remember, forget about it, then in a few months time, play again.


Ah well, I'm bored today trying to decide on something to install, this sounds like a good plan :D.

Also, Defcon is a good game. Not managed to get into it a great deal yet, need a good afternoon when I can be bothered to work out how to play well lol.

Darwinia was a good game too, I'd like to buy that sometime, rather than downloading it heh. I like all of Introversions stuff :D.
 
Lol must have played through uplink 10 or so times. I always purposefully fail a hacking attempt to get someone to fine me. Then I nick there account number and use it to take all their money, and check their account logs to steal money from other accounts. :p Ahh Sweet Justice. Got the best computer possible 3 or 4 times by doing that.
