Any-one with access to a free REG checker?

If by 'Reg Checker' you mean HPI check, I very much doubt you'll get that on here as it will reveal personal info about someones car?

eeek, 4owners covering 110,000miles, V reg.
It's a pug306 1.8Meridian, £700ono, so maybe £650.
I am in Edinburgh and Seller is in Fife but has already possibly said to meet at the bridge.
I know it depends on the actual condition of the car, engine etc, but at 4owners. A walk away situation?

4 owners isn't unreasonable for a 10 year old car.

if you can get the seller to bring the V5 with them, and you've got internet on your mobile, you can check the MOT history at the road side.

http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/OwningAVehicle/Mot/DG_10020539

very usefull as it shows what sort of things its failed its previous MOTs for !

He's unlikely to text you it over prior to meeting, but could always ring somebody at home to put it through the computer to check what its been up to if you can't do it on your mobile :)
