any opinions on a ALFA ROMEO SPIDER 3.2 V6 JTS Q4

I drove the 3.2 V6 in the Brera (basically the same car I think), I personally found it a tad heavy and thus not actually very quick or exciting to drive.

I'd have one if you can get a massive deal on it, which you maybe able to with it being a big engined Alfa but there are many other cars I'd choose over it and the engine didn't feel that amazing.

It's not the same classic Alfa V6 that get's talked about by everyone, it's a Vauxhall engine I think.

All this is from what I can remember when I looked into them about 3-4 years ago so might be wrong.

Depends what you want it for.

As a boulevard cruiser, its fairly rare, fantasic looking, comfortable and well screwed together (for an Alfa).

As a drivers car, its probably bottom of the pack for 2 seater convertables.

It totally depends what you are after, as cars they are not the best in this era. If you want a V6 Alfa then it doesn't matter how good other cars are because you want the V6 Alfa. If you are simply looking for a 'fast good looking car' or a 'v6 coupe/convertable' then there are much better cars.

I'd have one if the deal was too good to say no to, only to keep it for a year and then move on. I wouldn't look at one though if I wanted a decent V6 coupe/convertable.

it will def be the cl55 maybe the clk55 for me i kinda need 4 seats .
i suppose the clk55 is the E46 M3`s equiv , whats your views on the E46 m3 Fox?, And for that matter the clk55 and cl55?

i can see a remortgage comming up soon ;)

Its just my opinion of course but really this is not so much a car about how it drives but how it looks and makes you feel.

I genuinely went and looked at buying an Alfa spider today but I actually bought an XK8.

NEVER , i will NEVER have another bmw after being stung with problems in the past , maybe not fair on BMW but 2 times bitten , i dont think so.
I will leave mercedes to bite me now , fibbage myself and TW fox has a wee titata going on which i quite enjoy , and i think he does to , he wont let the cl55 thing go , until i get it and post a pic of my cl55 next year, with a big piece of paper over the bonnet with Ripping ocuk on it ;).
I was just curious as to how the new Alfa were , i had a GTV years ago , nice car but it blew up ;) ....

CL55?

It was an SL55 that was your dream car last time you posted a thread, have you really decided against a Cabrio that quickly? :p

hello Mr Fox :D, Tbh it will be one or the other , but i cant really see how often i will get to use the SL55 in Scotland , so will it be worth the premium over a cl55 , esp , since the cars are pillerless anyway ....... although the sl styling is immense ;)
