I've lived very near it april-june (with work) and visited the city a good 10 times. This is essentially how I'd summarise it. It feels fake, and it is fake. It was an interesting experience that I am glad to have had, but I would never pay to go there personally.I’ll preface this with the fact that I’ve never been. But it strikes me as a totally class-less place devoid of interest, culture, or any redeeming features. On top of that, it was built by trafficked slaves and still has a highly dubious human rights records.
If you want to go somewhere warm there’s plenty of better options.
Hey, you asked…

And June? Lol. Lmao even. Might as well go to Venus brother. Anywhere outside while the sun is even close to up is completely unbearable for more than a handful of minutes at that time of year.
We're looking to go away for 7 to 10 days in June next year, and Dubai has caught our eye , has anyone been and got an opinion please? Cheers.

Seems like the kinda place the ‘Love Island’ tropes go to so they can appear affluent.

Lots of celebs go there, have met a fair few in hotels I’ve stayed in.
There you go, another reason not to go.

Draconian levels of restrictiveness, very sterile, very fake and built by trafficked slave labour,
