I think this should work fine, just wanted to double check.

I have one of these (currently use with for a non boot drive):

If I were to buy one of these:

Would I be ok to install and SSD (with a 2.5 to 3.5 adapter) in one and an old HDD in the other? Using the SSD for Windows7 and the other for Linux.

I should be able to simply swap the drive to switch between OSs.

Can anyone see any problems? My concern was limiting SSD performance.
