Any programs that do this?

Howzit Guys,

I was wondering if there were any messanger-type programs that I can use across a LAN network that has no Internet? Like MSN type thing, just not internet, only LAN?

Needs to work with Windows XP Pro SP2 and Vista Ultimate.

Any ideas?

Jabber? You need a server for it somewhere though...

I guess you could do the same with IRC.

Openfire server with Spark client will do what you need. PSI is an alternative client.

However I found a program called LanToucher. Works like MSN, no server needed.
