Any Recommendation

This is my present spec:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550
MOBO: Asus P5B-Deluxe WiFi/AP
RAM: Corsair DDR2-800 4GB
GFX: BFG GeForce 8800GTS 640MB
SOUND: Creative Audigy 2 ZS
PSU: Corsair HX 520W
HDD: 2x WD Caviar SE16 250GB SATAII

Should I upgrade any of these it is all working well. I've been thinking about adding another HD to replace my external 500GB?

What do you guys think?

If its a gaming pc, maybe upgrade your gpu to an 5770 or 5850? If its not. You could get a sammy 500gb f3 in there. Maybe 2 for raid 0.

If you are going to buy the Samsung F3 for use as your boot drive, it would be a better option to buy the 1TB version.

The 500GB comes with 16meg cache, the 1TB comes with 32meg cache.

The hard drive is the most glaring thing that I would say to upgrade from now, TBH I would also say to consider a cheap Indillix or Intel SSD for your boot drive as you will see a huge increase in responsiveness from the quite old WD's you have in there now.

What monitor have you currently got?

I find that if everything is working well, then improving the inputs and outputs can really improve you enjoyment of using the machine.

I've got a 24" IPS monitor.

The main game is Flight Simulator 2004 and now FSX I used it for Photo editing and VM sometimes.

if gaming defo upgrade your gpu to a budget 5770 or more exspensive 5850 and away you go.
