Any Rust programmers here?

[Cromulent]

I've decided that Rust is going to be the next programming language I learn. I want to learn Rust mainly because you can compile it to WASM without the issues that surround programming in C (my first ever programming language) and C++.

I was wondering if there were any other Rust programmers here? If so what do you use it for primarily?

I guess I could also use it for critical performance parts of my website backend which might be useful. But I'm interested to hear what other uses people put Rust too.

Bit of a whacky thread revival but I was wondering the same thing.

Started learning a Rust course with Boris Paskhaven of Packt and I'm absolutely loving it! The code just looks so beautiful compared to other languages. Only just scratching the surface but I can see me actually sticking with this one. Did you stick with it, @Cromulent

I didn't unfortunately. I put it on the back burner for various reasons.

Nah you won’t stick with it. You’ll keep flipping back and forth convincing yourself the next one will be “for real this time”.

Ooh, are you one of those masters of the scrum?

It's one of the ones I have yes but I'm not in that role, handy to have these things in certain situations etc.

Scrum master is quite tech focused. PRINCE2 would be your more typical waterfall-style project mgmt cert.
