Hi All,

My girlfriend did a photo shoot recently with her sister and mum and the company sent through all 200 photo's but across 10 JPG images, is there any software to easily "extract" or "cut" all the individual pictures out as opposed to me manually cutting them and saving them as new documents?

Thanks,

lol why would they do that if she paid you should demand proper files tell them to use something like winrar (asumming they are doing it so they dont have to email 200 photos)

Sounds to me like you have been sent thumbnail galleries of the images for your inspection/approval.

As mentioned, it's probably a lo-res contact sheet where you then decide on which photos you want to be supplied hi-res and at whatever frame size you need.

Yes it is a low res (but still fine for a 6x4 print) - they were £70 a picture!!! They had 11 hi-res shots but wanted to try and cut the others up - and just didnt want to sit there and cut out 200 pictures... lol

I know scanner software can auto select areas to scan but don't think there would be a way to work with jpegs to do that.

The only other short-cut I could think of would be finding out the size of one of them and then setting your selection tool in some editing software and always using that size to move the selection tool around the image and copy and paste. It's still going to take a bit of time though.
