Never, the originals were before my time and the newer ones never interested me as I had never seen the originals, even though they were set later.

Plus - Dice didn't even make Hard-line.
I quite enjoyed the single player campaign anyway
whats that got to do with it ? 
starwars obviously is a massive franchise. the game will make money but are we talking about financial success ? or being a good game which we all will play?
the answer is pretty simple . the game will make money. mainly on console. the pc game will sell pretty badly and probably be just like hardline dead in little over a month.
hardline after about two months had peak time 1000 players on pc.
bf4 has 30,000.
its pretty clear to see bf people want battlefield not gimmicks.
if you make a multi million pound game with millions behind it in marketing and after one/two months you got 1000 people playing it. you failed !

And I still don't understand why you're assuming this is going to be just like Hardline?
One of the game modes includes nicking a speeder bike and whizzing round and round in circles?

It uses the Frostbite 3 engine, so checkout how your system runs Battlefield 4 to get a good idea of how it will run on your system.
It's not a demanding engine, in fact it's one of the best out there imo.

DG you do realise this is battleFRONT right? Sure it appeals to Battlefield players but also other people as well as its third person. Hardline flopped as it was a **** Battlefield game.

You have to watch Star Wars IV,V,VI mate, with the volume up on Blu Ray. Your life will not be complete without doing so, they might actually get you interested in Sci-Fi, they did me!
