I don't think I've seen a post on surfing here. Anyway, ordered a new board today 7'4 minimal. I wasn't getting anywhere on my bic, which is understandable.

Used to - and will do soon hopefully!
I live mid-west US and its hundreds and hundreds of miles to a beach

But hopefully going to Cali in August - first on the list = surfing!!

Where abouts to you surf?

- I'll probably be heading to Newquay once I visit England in a couple wks time :cool:

Not sure whether i qualify as a surfer yet, but i learned in Australia and have been surfing in Hawaii, will be looking to buy my own board soon as well, awesome stuff

Porthcawl is my local, but I pop down to Croyde Bay every so often. Hoping to go to France in September. I've looked at flights to Costa Rica but they are too expensive. :eek:

I used to, would love to do more but it's so much a zoo these days in the UK when I can get to the waves that it just became too frustrating. I need to move and become a local so I can get the weekday surf
