Any Tado users here?

Looking at grabbing a Tado thermostat. My main concern is do they work if the internet goes down?
I understand that it's a cloud based product for connectivity outside the house, but want it to be usable inside the house if it goes down.
 
You can manually set the temperature using the touch sensitive buttons (and by turning the Trvs).

IIRC they do lose the scheduling, so they will stick with whatever temperature you set them to until network is restored

That's not great that it loses that. I might look at others then.

Our internet went off Monday morning 1am and wasn't restored until 2pm. That means we would've woken up to a cold house.

Evohome might be worth a look, doesn't need to be online for any of the critical functions.
The display does all the schedule. Online just means you lose remote access.
