Is that all you need? No hard drives or cooler?

Or optical drive..

The 760 is very poor value for money. Considering the 280X is only £40 more.

750w is too much for that rig.. not needed.. You would be better off getting a 500-600W modular PSU.

Oh bugger.. Forgot I need an ssd as well.

Was gonna go for a samsung 840 256gb - assuming they're still the ssd of choice?

Thanks for the advice guys!

I can probably stretch to £800 to accommodate the ssd actually.

Optical drive: was gonna stick with my current drive. Any benefit of sticking a blu-ray drive in a PC if I'm not gonna watch blu rays on it?

Also is there any benefit of getting a K processor if I'm not going to overclock?

Not unless you want to overclock further down the line. Assuming you keep the system for 3 or 4 years (just a guess) its nice to have the option there if you change your mind. :)

Also if you overclock it a bit in a couple of years it will be up to scratch with new systems again. My CPU is 3 years old now (2500K), and sitting at 4.6GHz it's a bit better than the new 4670K :)

Thanks for taking the time to put that together stulid!

I have a couple of questions:

Is the 7950 3gb a better card than the 760- I saw a 7950 3gb removed. today so assumed it was an inferior card...

I'm a bit out of the loop my last card was a 5770...

160mm modular should be fine;)
