Any tips for grinding /filling ceramic tile?

I've removed a plug socket from a kitchen tile so I'm left with an uneven square hole, I've bought a blanking plate to cover it but it won't sit flush or screw into the empty socket.

Is there a drill attachment or something I can use to grind off a bit of the tile so it fits?

The hole is a bit like this but there are a few burrs that need grinding /filling down thanks!

Dremel? Unsure it'll have the guts

Dremel will easily do it with the tile bit

Ahh ok yes that's the kind of thing I'm thinking of.. I don't have a dremel though I could fit a bit to my small electric drill?

Just tickle it with something like this. I did get away with using the tile file when I had a similar issue:

If you've tiled it properly they'll be well and truly stuck on and take the pressure.

I bought the tile file from screwfix a couple of years ago, that works great for filing off bits of a tile.

Thanks.. Those drill bits look perfect.. It's only a small job so they don't nessesarily need to last.
Think the bits might be better than a file as will be easier and less force on the tile if it's not stuck down very strongly

Just use a multi tool bit for grout/tile. If it's ceramic you'll be fine. I did the same for porcelain and took a while but worked.
