I've now gone and bought a galaxy s5, I just wondered if there's anything recommended to do or any advice that might speed up things or help battery life? Also does anyone know any apps like cerberus?

There is battery saving mode but it looks crap. The battery life on them phones are good, are you having a problem with it?

You could install a custom ROM for better battery life? Go to the XDA forums.

Cerberus is great. You don't need anything else
