certainly a thought. One of the problem is the connectors are at the top of the card which is close the side of the case. Right angled or 180deg angled connectors would be good. Edit: like this http://www.moddiy.com/products/6%2d...eader-Connector-%2d-90%-Angled-%2d-Black.html

The extension cables are nowhere near as stiff as the PSU ones, so they can be bent immediately as they extend from the connector housing.
Not sure about draw but imagine they can transit the maximum for 6-pin or 8-pin respectively. Wouldn't hurt to know for sure.

I have used the Bitfenix ones and they were fine with a power hungry overclocked GTX480. The cables are really flexible because the individual cables are braided. The psu ones would be the same if they weren't all fastened together.
