Thought i'd have a quick go today to be greeted with another 5.3Gb update, i dopn't play online and only interested in single player, is there anyway to stop these updates as the size is getting pretty ridiculous at 77GB

I've replayed the SP a few times, it's a fun game and you can try the different endings. The counterpoint from me is that I could never see the point of multiplayer in a story driven action game.

wait what do you still do on single player?
I have 600 hours in SP

Well, that golf course is pretty addictive.. ;)
Yep it is really addictive :D

Just completed story mode for the 5th time. However I have always gone with option C as the other two options just don’t sit right with the game nrative for me to be honest.

Tried to install it a few days ago to play SP. Launcher said it was a 81GB install sod that! Rockstar

Yeah it’s an unfortunate reality that games are going to continue to get bigger and bigger as we go. This is why I find it funny when consoles come with a 500gb drive. GREAT you can install a full 5 games on that bad boy.

PC games tend to be bigger though. ost PS4 games are under 50GB (seeing as they come on a Blu-ray), the only ones massively bigger are games like Battlefield. Once you add patches/DLC.

Wow, where are the characteristic OcUK forum member responses, laying down solutions that they know the OP will have zero desire to follow but are the "best" solutions such as buy a 2TB HDD cos they are cheap now.

Yes because buying a 2TB hdd is the solution to stop a game from updating when not required.

I mean the response is right there. A link to a mod that stops it from happening on his games launch platform.

:D
