Any way to track an unkown phone call?

I've just had a phone call from an unkown number that I'd urgently like to get hold of. Is there a way to get hold of it

It's an unknown number. clearly he doesn't have the number!

Not aware of any method of finding out, think only the telephone companies can and they probably won't hand it out in a hurry.

Unknown could have also meant he didn't recognize the number.

short answer is no you can't. no phone company will give you any details. the only people that can do this are the police and even then they wouldn't give it to you

What you should do will depend on whether the rape has happened or not, it's hard to tell from the way the sentence was worded.
