It would seem its certainly cold enough for snow or a wintry mix across much of the UK, we have been saved by lack of moisture however! There are folks up in the far NW (Scotland) reporting snow because as usual they have plenty of moisture.
Met office rain radar is pretty empty for mainland England at the moment, saving us from a media frenzied panic mob 'omgzzz snowzzz!!'
