The other day when my dad came from work he said he just bought some black toilet roll from some corner shop , believe me, for some reason it seems daunting to use :P , anybody else ever had some of this?

me and gf are debating why they don't make brown coloured toilet paper.

The first thing that springs to mind is the reason bandages are white - so any blood can be seen. So with toilet paper, i'd know when to stop wiping as the white paper wouldn't have my stuff all over it. If the paper was brown, i wouldn't be able to see clearly if i am "clean" or not. :o

Higher cost to produce. Proper black toilet roll would take more ink to colour?

I always find the baby blue toilet roll colour disgusting once wiped however. White all the way...!

Seems strange, but white toilet paper is the most environmentally unfriendly as it has to be bleached, so I guess it's better in that respect. :P
