Anybody else who writes normal 'texts' like me?

Always type it out fully even before I had the iPhone (full keyboard). Only time I ever shorten things is on Xbox messages if I'm mid game.
 
I usually write normally, I only ever shorten my words if I get to the end of a text and I've bypassed my text limit. Usually takes me a minute or two to decipher what people say when they use txt language.

I don't see how using "4" instead of "four" means I am a retard.

I hate the laborious task of texting so I try and make it as quick as possible.
 
I'll write a text out properly.

Depending on if I need the extra few characters I'll shorten a word or two, but nothing as bad as "txt spk lllz".
 
I use predictive text as the buttons have become too small to bother manually typing everything out now. I type fully with 90% of words however to fit messages into one text I often have words saved to the dictionary for convenience, it's definitely worth it. ppl - people, defo - definitely, tbh - to be honest. Things like that, certainly worth saving the time. It's by no means an adoption of "txt spk lolol"
 
I too am knocking on a bit and I always send my text messages in full, including punctuation. Most of my friends do to, mind you they are mostly older than me. :)
 
I dont use text speak at all. I use full words unless i hit the limit of a text and have to slightly shorten things. so a word like tomorrow might become tomoro
