Anybody having issues with RAID0 on the DS3?

I've had this system for a few months now and the RAID0 performance while good was always a little 'flakey', causing stuttering sound and the occasional cycle of half-second long lockups/half second normal eventually ending it a total lockup.

Eventually it BSOD'ed on me and pointed at the RAID driver, which I updated with the newer driver from last month on Gigabytes website, result: no more stuttering sound and the system feels a lot more 'snappy', but I still get the occasional cycle as described above, nothing ever seems to appear in the event logs either.

Has anybody else has similar issues and if so any solutions?

It's the jmicron chip no doubt sooner they get rid of it the better IMO.

What revision board are you using?

Been using RAID0 on the DS3 rev.1 for months and not had any of those problems. I am sure that we would have heard more about it if it was a common problem.

Have you got it set to IDE or AHCI in the BIOS?

It's set to RAID/IDE.

Yeah, sorry, stupid question - there is no AHCI option for RAID
