That originally cost £25,000 with included Sony camcorders and Adobe Premiere.
The films play out from the PC and the two projectors are setup by getting two grids exactly on top of each other (a little bang here and a little nudge there).
The camcorders are setup 65mm apart which is the average distance of the eyes BUT this also depended on how far the subject was away.
Whatever you were shooting you had to put a card there with a pattern and match the camcorders up which was quite laborious.
I was ordered to make an Infection Control film in stereo but after a few days it became impossible so I decided to use the camcorders in different positions so when I came to edit aI had a choice of 2 shots.
The Manager wasn't happy I done it in mono but was over the moon when it won a Nursing Times Award.
I only ever recorded a couple of 3D films but all the other stuff was bought from the manufacturer.
or just buy 1 3lcd lcd shutter projector by epson the TW6000 for about £1200 its amazing , full 1920x1080 resolution 480hz.
my bother whos a right fusser ( his tv was out by 1 pixel horizontally and took it back )and owns a 3d plasma said it looked amazing which is good enough for me
i'll be using mine over xmas to watch all the good 3d blu rays i've been stocking up, i watched a quick 10 mins on avatar 3d and it looks so much better @92" than on my 24" acer 3d.
picture is very vibrant / great light output / and from what i have seen no crosstalk at all.

That first setup is crazy lol
I've got an Optoma HD67N which I use with my PC (Nvidia 3D Vision) and the 3D gaming and movies are wonderful, 84" screen as well.
It's only 720p, but the HD material looks fantastic still, and it does 1080p sources with 24p, will upgrade to 1080p very shortly.

Just got myself a EPson TW6000 but have been using a BenQ mw512 with a optoma 3dxl box up till now, the Epson is that little bit sharper been LCD but the BenQ is better for 3D the image comes out twice as much but it's a little dark over the Epsons bright 3d image..
Sorry to jump the thread, but does your Epson make a hard rive clicking sound when changing source and starting films. Thanks
I got an Acer HD5630 last Xmas and then a 3d-xl box the following month and tbh I think it was a lot of money if I was only using it for films. There just aren't enough films of a decent quality, avatar is a stand out winner though. However 3d gaming on the ps3 and PC is incredible and I'm always on it.
