anyone been diving in Turkey

Im looking for a diving holiday in Turkey this summer from either Fethye, Marmaris or Bodrum, if anyone has been before can they reccomend a place to book it? Beginner orinentated.

Not been on one but have a mate who is a diving instructor and had a job at a tourist diving school in Turkey , ended up quitting as he said all standard safety procedures were being flaunted

common practice in many tourist resorts.

Yes, I went diving in fethiye. The best diving school out there was Divers delight. They have offices in both Fethiye and Marmaris. Its run by two brothers, one of which was a navy seal.

Thanks for that, i just had a quick look at their website and it seems pretty good

I used to do a lot of diving back in my college days but that was 15 years ago lol So i need a refresher, but i think i know enough to realise if someone was dodging all the safety stuff.

went in Greece last year - it's awesome. Been to Bodrum too but didn't go diving there... i've got some great piccies and i got to hold starfish and all kinds

just noticed you mentioned Bodrum , just to add the place is a real hole , not been to any of the others so can't comment

Jamaica was nice for snorkling

never scuba dived tho so not sure the coral reef was about 3meters down so not that far really

yeah we stayed in gumbet which was much nicer. Though Bodrum Harbour is beautiful. Nice kebabs too

the harbour is nice but once you get into the town the hassle is unbearable

and there were some real dirty pubs there too. Ants everywhere.
