I'm off to Vegas for a week in November and would like to do to a shooting range and found Battlefield Vegas which looks pretty good!

Has anyone been and can comment on it or perhaps recommend another in Vegas??

Got back from Vegas last week.
Didn't go to the gun range (as it's not a novelty when you live over here), however I highly recommend Drai's nightclub :)

I went to The Strip Gun Club back in April as part of a Stag Do... or Bachelor Party as they call it there.... note that it's nothing to do with Strippers, just a reference to it being on the strip!

It was a lot of fun!
We took out a package which allowed you to choose three firearms.... one pistol, then your choice of two from assault rifles, shotguns or sniper rifles. They had a wall with all the guns mounted on them, and an extremely knowledgable smoking hot girl behind the counter who knew more than your average pre-teen Call of Duty player.

The staff were really good and they played up to the Stag, even bringing him out a gold Desert Eagle to shoot!

I'd fully recommend them.

Went to Vegas in 2010 for my birthday and wanted to go to a firing range but never actually got round to it. My friends from work went last year and said it was mentally expensive for just a few rounds and if you wanted to fire some heavy duty **** you'd be forking out 100s of dollars.

I did a few LV ranges over the years but not the B-LA one. One thing to note is that while the guns are cheap to rent the ammunition is expensive so if you're after fully automatic military style weapons be prepared to spend over $100 minimum just buying the bullets, unless you're happy with around 10-30 shots (trust me, you'll want more). Shotguns and 9mm pistols/sub-machine guns are the cheapest things I found.

I went last year, get there as early as possible and miss the queue.
Loads to choose from, lots of packages, not bad pricing. I'm sure there are more to choose from but it was a short taxi ride and no hassle so I would definitely go again.

50 cal ranges in the uk are listed in the website above, typically they are in the middle of nowhere with a mountain as a backstop.

I had a friend go to battlefield Vegas last month. No 50 cal there as its all indoor and the ammunition is custom load rather than factory load to lower the muzzle energy, but fully auto weapons are a go.

Edit - they do appear to have 50 cal rifles after all
