Not sure, guy sat next to me said he was a regular T5 user and it seems to happen a fair bit to him. Admittedly was my first try at T5.
30 trips at T2/3 and never a problem
Ahh okay, not sure. I've flown out of T5 more than T2/3 and its generally been fine for me. In January I had to take a domestic from NCL to LHR and that was majorly delayed due to the baggage belt mating with the plane
so we landed into LHR with 30 minutes before my connecting flight to JFK, i've never shifted from the A gates to C gates as fast as I did then in my entire life 
I must have been the last one to board!
